Fayetteville man charged in sexual assault
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department's Special Victims Unit have charged and arrested a suspect in connection with a sexual assault that allegedly occurred on May 28, 2016.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Special Victims Unit have charged and arrested a suspect in connection with a sexual assault that allegedly occurred on May 28, 2016.
Lang Nguyen, 34, of the 800 block of Sumner Drive has been arrested and charged with second-degree forcible sex offense and sexual battery. Nguyen was an acquaintance of the male victim at the time of the crime.
He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $100,000 secured bond.
