Fayetteville man accused of rape
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department's Special Victims Unit have arrested and charged a man in connection with a rape investigation. The incident took place on Dec. 6 at the 1900 block of Cedar Creek Rd.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Special Victims Unit have arrested and charged a man in connection with a rape investigation. The incident took place on Dec. 6 at the 1900 block of Cedar Creek Rd.
Jaykeen Primus,19, of the 1900 block of Cedar Creek Road in Fayetteville, has been charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Forcible,1st Degree Sexual Offense and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. Primus was an acquaintance of the victim at the time of the offenses.
He is currently being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $600,000 secured bond.
