Fayetteville bank robbed Friday morning

A Fayetteville First Citizens Bank was robbed late Friday morning.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A  First Citizens Bank branch in Fayetteville was robbed late Friday morning.

Fayetteville police said they responded to a robbery at the branch at 2617 Bragg Blvd., about 11:20 a.m. Witnesses told police that two men walked into the bank, showed weapons and demanded money. Then men took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a blue vehicle. 

The first man is described as black, 6 feet 2 inches tall with a heavy build, wearing a green knit cap and blue jeans with red and white back pockets. The second man is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing blue jeans frayed at the bottom and a coat with a hood.
