Parents needs to be very careful in who they choose to take care of their children. In modern tech. set a camera out in the rooms being used, back ground criminal check. This is awful for what she did and she should face the consequences and never be allow to keep or be around children.

horrible injuries sustained by a poor innocent baby. I hope the child doesn't have lifelong mental and physical disabilities due to this woman's alleged abuse. Horrific; how can anyone subject a 4 month old infant to such abuse?!

    Pure evil. Execute and bury.

The bond is only $75K???????????? For serious injury to a helpless CHILD? There are people who get more of a bond for pictures, weed etc. UNREAL. Other than shelling out freebies to the lazy this is our countries largest problem and one day we are going to have to actually start punishing criminals. Especially these violent ones.

If this happened in April, why was she just arrested? How many other victims have there been between then and now? Hopefully none. The saddest part of this is that a helpless baby, was terribly beaten. Second to that, is the time it took to make this case.

what did she do? throw the child against the wall? The brain injury and retinal hemorrhage can come from shaken baby syndrome but the broken bones? Not that I'm making any excuse for it.

Hope the child can fully recover.

"...it suffered body fractures, brain injury and retinal hemorrhage..."

    OMG!!! Is the child ok?

What the heck would a 4-month old do that someone in their right mind would think would warrant that!?!

And $75,000 bond is ridiculous. The bond should be as high as the child's hospital bills are.

I pray the baby will fully recover and will have a long blessed life.

And I pray the sentence handed to this babysitter REALLY fits the crime she committed against that child.

And by the way, is she running a daycare? Is she licensed to do that in NC? Does she have First Aid/Child CPR training?

How about doing some REAL investigating and find out the rest of the details to this story. smh
