Family 'Extremely Worried' About Missing Fayetteville Man
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Detectives are asking for the public’s help to find Livest Leon Melvin, 58.

He was last seen on April 2 and was reported missing by a family member on April 10. He is known as “Uncle L.”

Melvin is a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 190 pounds with a medium complexion, gray hair and brown eyes. He may be on foot in the area of the VA hospital on Ramsey Street or on Murchison Road.

Melvin requires medication and does not have it with him, police said. The lack of medication could possibly be life-threatening. It is unlike Melvin to lose contact with his family, and they are extremely worried, police said.

Anyone with information about Melvin’s whereabouts should contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856.
