— Family members of a Raleigh woman missing since last week say they are desperate for answers about where she might be.

Kimberly Bullock Thomas, 45, was last seen Thursday morning at her job in Durham, but she never returned home to her husband and their 16-year-old daughter.

According to family, she was driving a black 2010 Nissan Maxima with TALIA 1 as the license plate.

Thomas stands about 5 feet 4 inches tall, police said, and she has brown hair and blue eyes.

Raleigh police say they are investigating, but do not have any reason to believe she was the victim of foul play.

Anyone who might have seen Thomas is asked to call the Raleigh police tip line at 919-834-HELP or contact their local law enforcement agency.

"There is nothing to fear but fear itself." It would be highly unlikely that this woman would just take off without a word or trace. I suspect her cell phone and credit cards have not been used (why they have no leads). This certainly indicates foul play to me. My prayers are with her family and that they find her soon.

My wife was offered a job in Raleigh, and I told her she couldn't take it out of the same fear that you have.

I hope they find her ok. My wife was offered a job in Durham and I told her she couldn't take it. This is why. It may have nothing to do with Durham, but it's the same fear I had for her safety.

I am certain that a concerned family would be searching that road already. Maybe she stopped at a store or took a detour to see the scenery if the area was nice? I do that sometimes myself just to enjoy the world around me. But I would stop at every store that she may normally go to or any stops along the way to check if anyone had seen her. I don't personally know the family but I will be praying for them.

Has anyone driven the route she drives and looked for any signs along that route that a car may have driven off the road into some brush or trees?
