Ex-Fort Bragg soldier facing 19 charges of defacing property

A former Fort Bragg soldier that was arrested for painting graffiti on multiple Fayetteville buildings is now facing 19 misdemeanor charges of defacing public property.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A former Fort Bragg soldier that was arrested on Monday for painting graffiti on multiple Fayetteville buildings is now facing 19 misdemeanor charges of defacing public property.

Jacob David Smith, 24, also faces charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for marijuana an conspiracy to sell or deliver marijuana.

Smith is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Jan. 28 for the drug charges, and he is also due in court on Feb. 25 for the 19 public property defacement charges.
