Use toothpaste? Lotion or other skin care products?

Terrorists may try to hide bomb parts in those items and use them on flights bound for Russia and the Olympics, according to a recent warning from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Once in flight, the parts would be assembled to make a working bomb.

“Out of an abundance of caution, DHS regularly shares relevant information with domestic and international partners, including those associated with international events such as the Sochi Olympics,” the department said in a statement.

Federal officials have not said what prompted the warning. No specific flights have been named but Russia is now banning liquids in unchecked luggage.

The Sochi Olympics’ opening ceremonies are on Friday.
