Posted October 18, 2009
The Tar Heel Traveler will air a half-hour Halloween special Wednesday.
Scott Mason will profile a supposedly haunted library in Morehead City and a spooky house in Winston-Salem.
The Traveler also talks with a paranormal team from Kinston and a Burke County author tracing a notorious murder.
There are strange tales too from a cemetery in New Bern, on a river near Dunn, and along a road in Lee County.
The special airs at 7 p.m. on WRAL-TV.
