Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Ashley Judd made appeared at North Carolina State University on Thursday to encourage early voting and express her support for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
It was one of several stop Judd and Valerie Biden Owens, the sister of Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden, made to Triangle area college campuses. The two planned visits to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University. They'll also hold a Women for Obama event in Raleigh.
Judd is best known for her roles in the films “Double Jeopardy,” “De-Lovely” and “Someone Like You."
