Wildlife artist is a longtime fixture at the State Fair

Duane Raver of Garner is a highly acclaimed wildlife artist who has been a fixture at the Village of Yesteryear at the North Carolina State Fair for years. He draws fish, birds and other animals, and he has plenty of models hanging from the walls of his studio, which is inside his daughter's taxidermy shop. At 85, Raver said this could be his last year at the fair.
