A 94-year-old man died late Saturday after his Kinston home caught fire, authorities said Monday.

<b>KINSTON, N.C.</b> — A 94-year-old man died late Saturday after his Kinston home caught fire, authorities said Monday.

Firefighters responded to the fire at 1316 Holman St. at about 10:20 p.m. and found Isaac Kirkman inside. He was pronounced dead at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but authorities estimated that it caused $65,000 in damage.
