Eighth person charged in Farmville triple homicide

Authorities arrested an eighth person Monday in connection with a triple homicide at a Farmville convenience store.

GREENVILLE, N.C. — Authorities arrested an eighth person Monday in connection with a triple homicide at a Farmville convenience store. 

Timmy Odell House, 28, of 411 Latham St. in Greenville, is charged with three counts of accessory after the fact of first-degree murder. 

Antwan Andre Anthony, 29, of Bethel, Xavier Montel Shamble, 20, Farmville, Willie Odell Whitehead Jr., 24, of Pinetops, and Raekwon Terrell Blount, 15, of Snow Hill, were charged with three counts of first-degree murder and other charges after three employees of the Hustle Mart were shot and killed during an April 1 robbery.

Mokbel Mohamed "Sam" Almujanhi, 16, was the son of the store owner, and the other two victims, Nabil Nasser Saeed Al'mogannahi, 26, and Gaber Alawi, 24, were also relatives.

Zipporah Rochell Purvis, 24, of Farmville, and Ashley Dorthell Johnson, 23, of La Grange, also face three counts each of being an accessory after the fact. Valerie Denise Blount, 30, of Snow Hill, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

House, Whitehead's brother, was in the Pitt County jail Tuesday under a $3 million bond, police said.
