East Raleigh home catches fire

— A single-story home in east Raleigh caught fire Thursday morning, authorities said. 

Fire crews responded to the home, which is in the 1200 block of Old Milburnie Road near New Bern Avenue, about 6:45 a.m. 

No injuries have been reported, and information about the cause of the fire was not released.

Dozens of firefighters were on scene at 7:15 a.m. working to extinguish the fire.

    I also passed by there this morning and it looked like fire and smoke had come thru the front windows. I am very happy to hear that no one was hurt.

    I passed by here this morning, those pictures don't really show how bad it was or looked. No injuries were reported, that's a good thing.
