Kelley Blue Book has released its 10 best green cars for 2014, and the list includes the Honda Civic, Chevrolet Volt, Toyota Prius, Nissan Leaf and BMW i3. 

Find a new home for old gear

Locate a proper recycling facility for your old gadgets through Greener Gadgets. 

Green gear you want to keep

Visit Earth911 to learn about ways you can green your gear. Articles cover everything from cellphone chargers that consume less energy to how to choose the right energy-saving light bulbs. 

Get cash for old tech

Amazon is a good place to start for either trading or selling old phones or tablets. For Apple gadgets specifically, Gazelle.com is a place to earn cash.

    Kind of annoys me that, since 1976, VW has offered the 50MPG Diesel [insert car here], yet it's constantly overlooked on the lists every time we talk 'green.' Lithium-ion is far more polluting than diesel exhaust.
