Durham woman sought after food stolen from church

Durham police are trying to find Georgetta Ray, 38, who is wanted on break-in and larceny charges.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are trying to find Georgetta Ray, 38, who is wanted on break-in and larceny charges.

Ray, of Dorothy Drive, is charged with breaking into Asbury Temple Church, at 201 South Alston Ave., on Sept. 21 and stealing meat and other food from a refrigerator.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call Investigator Green at 919-560-4935, ext. 29415, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
