Durham teen injured in high school parking lot IDed
Durham police on Thursday identified a 16-year-old Riverside High School student who was injured in a parking lot outside the school Wednesday evening.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Durham police on Thursday identified a 16-year-old Riverside High School student who was injured in a parking lot outside the school Wednesday evening.
Joseph Ostrowski fell off the trunk of a car and hit his head, according to a preliminary investigation. He was taken to Duke Hospital and was listed in satisfactory condition Thursday evening, according to hospital officials.
Police did not say if the car was moving. No charges were filed against the driver, Samuel Sidberry. The case is still under investigation.
