Durham Police vehicle involved in accident

— A police vehicle was involved in a wreck early Friday at the intersection of North Roxboro and Old Oxford roads, officials said.

The accident happened around 4:40 a.m.

Two Durham police officers were in the vehicle. One received minor injuries and the other walked away from the scene.

A civilian driving the other vehicle in the wreck was not hurt.

Both vehicles had minor cosmetic damage. No names have been released.

    Glad the officer were not hurt to bad. And yeah... slow news day... but never a slow day in the economy, always some new horrible news... all to freak you out and make it worse.

    Can we say slow news day? I wonder why the officer walked away instead of getting a ride with another officer.
