Durham police seek tips in Angier Avenue shooting

Police said a 40-year-old woman and her friend were walking in the 2000 block of Angier Avenue around 9 p.m. when shots were fired from a vehicle. The woman, who was shot multiple times, remains hospitalized.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are asking for help in solving an April 24 shooting on Angier Avenue.

Police said a 40-year-old woman and her friend were walking in the 2000 block of Angier Avenue around 9 p.m. when shots were fired from a vehicle. The woman, who was shot multiple times, remains hospitalized. Her friend was not injured.

The vehicle was described as a light-colored, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima or a Nissan Maxima. At least two people were in the car, police said.
