DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are asking for the public's help in solving a shooting and attempted robbery at a Domino's pizza store Saturday night.

A man wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing entered the store, at 3001 Holloway St., around 8:15 p.m. and exchanged gunfire with an employee who was struck in the arm, police said.

The would-be robber fled the scene in a gold 1990s Buick or Oldsmobile four-door sedan with semi-tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the hold-up is asked to contact the Durham Police Department at 919-560-4281, extension 29122, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.
