Durham police seek bank robbery suspect

Witnesses described the suspect as a black man, 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He had his head covered with sheet of with a gold, green and burgundy print. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and black shoes, witnesses said.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are looking for a male suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Friday afternoon.

The man entered Cardinal State Bank, at 115 East Carver St., at around 12:35 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, witnesses said.

They described the suspect as a black man, 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.
He had his head covered with sheet bearing a gold, green and burgundy print. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and black shoes, witnesses said.

The man was last seen running toward the woods near the State Employees Credit Union.
