A missing 13-year-old was found safe Saturday evening after a Silver Alert was issued early Saturday morning. 

<b>MORRISVILLE, N.C.</b> — A missing 13-year-old was found safe Saturday evening after a Silver Alert was issued early Saturday morning.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Kameron Weltington at about 1:30 a.m. after he went missing from an apartment in the 5700 block of Arringdon Drive in Morrisville.

When he disappeared, Kameron was wearing a red wind breaker jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. Durham police believed Kameron was headed toward the Brier Creek area.
