Durham police: Man attacked on American Tobacco Trail
A man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being attacked on the American Tobacco Trail near South Roxboro Street, Durham police said.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers responding to the area found the man at about 12:35 p.m. The man, whose name was not released, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said the man was attacked with a stick or rod-like object. No suspects have been arrested, and authorities did not release information about a motive.
