Durham police were investigating two, separate fatal shootings.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police Monday were investigating two, separate fatal shootings.

The first shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Gary and Quincy streets. Henry Jamel May, 30, of Old Well Street, was taken to Duke University Hospital where he died of his injuries, police said.

Another man was shot around the same time at North Elizabeth and Dowd Streets. Crews also took him to Duke University Hospital with critical injuries. He also died, according to police. His identity has not been released.
