Durham police investigate homicide
Durham police on Sunday said they were investigating a homicide the occurred along Weaver Street.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Durham police on Sunday were investigating a homicide that occurred along Weaver Street.
Officers responding to calls about shots fired found the body of a man in a vehicle at 3020 Weaver St., off East Cornwallis Drive.
Nicholas Javon James, 30, of Charles Street, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators didn't have a motive for the shooting on Monday morning, and no charges had been filed.
