Durham Police Find Teen Mom, Her Baby
Durham police found a 17-year-old girl and her 7-month-old daughter who had been missing since Monday morning.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police found a 17-year-old girl and her 7-month-old daughter who had been missing since Monday morning.
"They are safe and sound," said Durham police spokeswoman Kammie Michael. She did not provide any further information.
Janae Mays and her baby, Alyria Middleton, left an apartment on Wabash Street around 9 a.m. Monday to catch a bus to Lincoln Community Health Center, police said.
There was no record that Mays kept her appointment at Lincoln, and she missed other appointments later in the day, officials said.
Mays did not have a history of running away and police said they were concerned about her wellbeing and that of the baby.
