Durham police charge parents with abusing 2-month-old boy
A man and woman have been charged with felony child abuse after Durham police say they injured their 2-month-old son.

DURHAM, N.C. — A man and woman have been charged with felony child abuse after Durham police say they injured their 2-month-old son.
Willie Lee Martin III and Jessica Naomi Watkins are each charged with felony child abuse.
Police said the boy was brought to a local hospital in mid-September with serious injuries. The child suffered broken bones, bleeding in his eyes and other injuries, police said.
Martin and Watkins were arrested Thursday and were being held in the Durham County jail under separate $250,000 bonds.
