Durham police ask for public's help to solve storage break-ins
Police said someone cut off the locks and latches to 102 units and swiped cash, jewelry, electronics, fishing equipment and records. They do not know whether more than one person is responsible for the crimes.
Posted — UpdatedDurham police are asking for the public's help in finding out who broke into more than 100 storage units last week and stole valuables, including cash and jewelry.
The thefts happened at The Storage Room, at 3822 S. Alston Ave, between 11 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.
Police said someone cut off the locks and latches to 102 units and swiped cash, jewelry, electronics, fishing equipment and records. They do not know whether more than one person is responsible for the crimes.
