DURHAM, N.C. — EDITOR'S NOTE: Charges against Renaldo Sinclair Webbe were dismissed in Jan. 2012.

Police said Wednesday that they have arrested a Durham man in connection with a bomb threat at Duke University last weekend.

Renaldo Sinclair Webbe, 20, of 1209 Jackson St., is charged with making a false bomb report and making a false report of mass violence on educational property.

A temporary employee of McDonald's in the Bryan Center on Duke's campus, Webbe is accused of phoning in a report of explosives in the center Saturday morning. The call prompted campus police to evacuate the building for a couple of hours so they could search it.

The Bryan Center, on Duke's West Campus, houses the University Store, an information desk, the Gothic Bookshop, five dining facilities, ATMs, film and performing art theaters, the University Box Office, a post office and broadcast studio.
