Diesel Fuel Spill Contained in Durham

A car struck a truck Wednesday morning at a Durham intersection, causing a fuel spill.

DURHAM, N.C. — Crews were able to contain a diesel fuel spill Wednesday morning in Durham.

A car struck a truck shortly after 9 a.m. in the 3800 block of Miami Boulevard, authorities said. The car stuck near the truck's fuel tank area, causing the spill. 

The fire department was able to keep the fuel from storm drains. It is not yet known how much fuel spilled from the truck.

There were no reports of any injuries.
