The Salisbury Police Department is searching for two missing children, 2-year-old Igh’Jhlan Silver and 3-year-old Prasjhas Reid. The victims are believed to be with Kevin Antonio Smith. Smith is believed to be in a Gray 2023 Nissan Altima with NC license tag number Khb1698.

Sheriff's deputies were responding Tuesday afternoon to a report of a shooting on Simpkins Road at the Wake County Speedway in Raleigh.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Sheriff's deputies were responding Tuesday afternoon to a report of a shooting on Simpkins Road at the <a href="https://www.wral.com/entertainment/out_and_about/venue/7259328/">Wake County Speedway</a> in Raleigh.

Capt. Jimmy Stevens, a spokesman for the Wake County Sheriff's Office, however, said investigators were at the scene on Simpkins Road but that "it does not appear to be a criminal act at this time."

He would not elaborate, and further details were not immediately available.
