RALEIGH, N.C. — Three people were displaced Friday night after a fire broke out at a home on Poole Road, Wake County fire officials said.

Emergency crews responded to the home at about 9 p.m., closing part of Poole Road as they battled the blaze.

No injuries were reported, and officials have not said if anyone was in the home when the fire started.

Firefighters were having a difficult time extinguishing the fire because there are no hydrants nearby in the 6000 block of Poole Road.

The Red Cross was on scene late Friday to assist the impacted family.

No other information was available.
