The Comfort Suites at 350 Asheville Avenue in Cary was evacuated Wednesday afternoon, town officials said.

CARY, N.C. — The Comfort Suites at 350 Asheville Avenue in Cary was evacuated Wednesday afternoon, town officials said.
Twenty-four people were evacuated after a mechanical issue with the pool pump, according to a hotel employee.
Guests were able to return to their rooms at about 3 p.m.
