Clayton Family Dollar robbed

Two men robbed the Family Dollar inside the Clayton Village Shopping Center Saturday night.

— Two men robbed the Family Dollar inside the Clayton Village Shopping Center Saturday night, police said.

The men walked into the store and demanded money and cigarettes before escaping through the back of the store, police said. No injuries were reported.

    That plaza is always getting robbed. Food Lion was a few months ago. During the day it's ok but at night, conceal carry. I mean...conceal carry regardless but really...conceal carry.

    I can't help but wonder if this is somehow related to the Dollar General that got robbed on S. Wilmington St. last week....

    Family Dollars probably have more cash in a register or on-hand than other retailers.
