<b>JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C.</b> — Authorities in Johnston County said a 14-year-old bicyclist suffered injuries after being struck by a car Friday night. 

According to authorities, a teen riding a bicycle was hit around 6:45 p.m. on Highway 39 near Creech-Johnson Road. 

The victim was taken to WakeMed with a broken arm and the crash remains under investigation.
