Chapel Hill Fire Department puts out fire at Red Roof Inn on Fordham Blvd.

The Chapel Hill Fire Department put out a fire Wednesday morning at the Red Roof Inn on Fordham Blvd.

Around 9:40 a.m., the Chapel Hill Fire Department, with the assistance of the Durham Fire Department, responded to a fire at the Red Roof Inn at 5623 Fordham Blvd.

The fire was contained to one room, but neighboring rooms were also damaged.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
