Chapel Hill couple charged in rape of child
A Chapel Hill man was indicted Monday on charges he had sex with the underage daughter of a woman he was living with, the Chatham County Sheriff's Office said.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A Chapel Hill man was indicted Monday on charges he had sex with the underage daughter of a woman he was living with, the Chatham County Sheriff's Office said.
Martin Delgado-Ramirez, 32, faces felony charges of statutory rape and indecent liberties with a child. He was being held on $10,000 secured bond at the Chatham County jail.
The girl's mother faces a charge of felony child abuse.
Authorities were tipped off to the allegations by the Department of Social Services, said Maj. Gary Blankenship, a sheriff's office spokesman.
