Cary police investigating crash, shooting near Parkside Town Commons
The Cary Police Department said it is investigating a crash and shooting Saturday that left 1 person injured.

Cary police said officers responded to the intersection of O’Kelly Chapel Road and Parkside Main Street near the Parkside Town Commons shopping mall.
The driver of the vehicle was found to also have suffered a gunshot wound. They were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injures, police said.
Police have not said what led to the crash or if the shooting happened before or after.
The driver remained hospitalized on Sunday morning, police said, but is "doing well." Their identity has not yet been released.
