Police are searching for the suspect in an April 1 gas station robbery who was filmed wielding a knife and wearing bright purple rubber gloves.

CARY, N.C. — Police are searching for the suspect in an April 1 gas station robbery who was filmed wielding a knife and wearing bright purple rubber gloves.

Surveillance photos from the High House Food Market at 832 Old Apex Road, Cary, showed a man jump the counter and steal money from the station, Cary police said. The man escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect wore black pants and a black hooded coat with gray mesh on the shoulders. He also covered his head and mouth.
