I will take my chances in Cary any day of the week over Durham, Fayetteville, etc. Go to Durham and see the bars on windows.. Who knows what sparked the stabbing at 1128 Afton Meadow Lane, Is the complex at fault? NO, Could the complex have prevented it? NO. It was a isolated incident between family members. Could have been anywhere... From what i know of that property, it is a safe and nice place to live.

Cary is one of the most dangerous towns in NC?

    We're scared of CARY now!?!?

What a sad paranoid existence some of you live.

kikinc, Thats the problem!! I hope you are able to live crime free for the rest of your life and I pray you do not end up a victim however; odds are, people like you who have this false sense of security are the ones who get knocked in the head because you got caught slipping! BTW, having a "bored" stranger break in to your home and take what you have is a violating and horrific crime. What if your family member came home to see a "bored" stranger in their home stealing? Do you know how scary that would be for a mother and child or elderly person? If these "bored" kids that you speak of had a certain look, I seriously doubt that they would be classified as "bored" teenagers! They would be the violent criminals that "don't live in Cary" . Again, Cary is one of the most dangerous towns in NC

I really want to believe that Its the who what is being sarcastic. I have no problem jogging at night in my Cary neighborhood. This was a case of domestic violence, which happens everywhere. It's not random. I'll take my chances in Cary. Been here 10 years, and the worst that's happened in my neighborhood is bored teenagers walking into open garages looking for refrigerators with beer.

What is wrong with people today? The economy is not that great but it is not worth attempted murder, murder, bodily harm, etc. This is ridiculous. Learn to have compassion for your human race.

Crime is everywhere! It doesn't have a specific race, religion, sex, location, etc...

That apartment complex is less than 1/4 mile from where the woman shot her husband, same side of the road no less. Not a cheap area either.
