Cars hit by bricks in Durham

— Someone threw bricks onto cars traveling the Durham Freeway Wednesday, police said.

Several vehicles were damaged as they traveled under N.C Highway 147 (Durham Freeway) along Lakeland Avenue. No one was injured.

Police have no suspects, but witnesses reported seeing two people under the bridge.

    They should remove that bridge as it's a conduit for criminals on foot to move freely between two parts of the DMZ.

    They must have meant the Lakeland Ave. bridge which is that rusted eyesore of a pedestrian bridge just before Alston Ave.
