Cape Hatteras Lighthouse fees increase
The climbing fee for the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse will increase for the season, officials with the park said Friday.

The climbing fee for the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse will increase for the season, officials with the park said Friday.
Starting Saturday, climbing tickets will be $8 for adults and $4 for senior citizens, children under 11 and those holding a National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Access Pass.
The fee has not increased in five years.
Tickets can only be purchased at the site on the day of the climb.
Children must be at least 42 inches tall, and those under 12 must be escorted by a person at least 16 years old.
