Bragg soldier charged in Hoke County sexual assault

A Fort Bragg soldier has been charged with second-degree sexual offense in connection with an incident that allegedly took place at a Hoke County home.

A Fort Bragg soldier has been charged with second-degree sexual offense in connection with an incident that allegedly took place at a Hoke County home.

According to investigators, Sgt. Edmund Gonzales sexually assaulted a woman on Aug. 5 at a home in the 2000 block of June Johnson Road.

Gonzales was being held in the Hoke County jail Tuesday under a $50,000 secured bond.
