A body was found Wednesday evening in a wooded area near Interstate 440 and Tom Gipson Drive in Raleigh, police said.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police say they don't suspect foul play in a case in which a body was found Wednesday afternoon near Interstate 440.

Police were called around 3:30 p.m. to a wooded area behind Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek, 3801 Rock Quarry Road, where the remains of a man were found.

Authorities are working to identify the man.

Anyone with information that might assist the investigation is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.
