WALSTONBURG, N.C. — Authorities are investigating the homicides of two men, whose bodies were found inside a burned SUV in Greene County on Thursday.
The vehicle, which belonged to missing brothers Antione and James Cox, was found parked behind an abandoned hog operation off Knox School Road in Walstonburg.

Police are awaiting DNA tests to positively identify the bodies.

The Cox brothers, who lived in the Lindell community, were last seen July 22, family members said. The men were on their way to pick up some tires, but never reached their destination.

Investigators said there are multiple persons of interest, but no arrests have been made.
