ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Evangelist Billy Graham has been weaker in the month since he celebrated his 95th birthday, a Graham family spokesman said Friday.

Graham, who is at home with good vital signs, "does not appear to be in any imminent danger" despite being generally weaker in recent weeks, spokesman Mark DeMoss said in a statement.

Graham spent two days in an Asheville-area hospital in late November after experiencing respiratory congestion, an ailment that has forced him to receive treatment several times in the last few months.

"Franklin Graham said he would appreciate prayer for his father," DeMoss said Friday.

Politicians, business leaders, celebrities and hundreds of faithful followers celebrated Graham's 95th birthday on Nov. 7.

A big party was held at the Grove Park Inn to celebrate the occasion. Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, Kathy Lee Gifford and Gov. Pat McCrory were some of the guests in attendance.
