ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A Nash County boy, whom police say was killed by his older brother, was assaulted with a hammer to his head, according to an autopsy report released Friday.

Olufemi Christian Fashola, 13, died April 25 during a fight at the boys' home in Sharpsburg. Their parents were not home at the time.

Medical examiners at the Brody School of Medicine's Division of Forensic Pathology at East Carolina University found the teen suffered massive blunt force trauma to the head.

The older brother, Olabode Raphael Fashola, 16, called 911, telling the dispatcher that he killed Olufemi. He is charged with first-degree murder.
