Eagle Springs, N.C. — Moore County authorities were searching Tuesday for a missing 31-year-old who is believed to be cognitively impaired.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Maurice Cornelius Spencer about 9 a.m. after he went missing from a home on McCoy Lane in Eagle Springs.
Spencer, who goes by the nickname "Fella," is black with black hair and brown eyes. He stands about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.
He was wearing black shorts when he went missing. Authorities weren't sure where Spencer may be headed.
