WHY DOES WRAL ALWAYS PUBLISH PEOPLES ADDRESSES.

  • pokemasterdude Jun 8, 2011

If any of you people read the article, he didn't attack the teacher.
The teacher jumped into the middle of the fight, thinking that would somehow stop the fight, and got hit. That's what happens when you jump into the middle of one.
It really was her fault that she got hit.

I'm a teacher and all I have to say is, if this kid had punched me in the head, I would have been fired that day! he would not have walked out of that school!

RE: "THIS YOUNG ADULT IS A PRODUCT OF A SCHOOL SYSTEM THAT DOES HOLD ITS STUDENTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THERE ACTIONS."

Unfortunately, the school system can't hold students accountable for their actions. Every time they try they get sued. It's only a matter of time before Rev. Barber and the NAACP get involved in this case. Somehow they will find a way to blame the teacher/school. He is NOT a product of the school system - he is the product of SORRY PARENTING!!!!

melanie3 - a teacher was hit in the head. game over.

  • bombayrunner Jun 3, 2011

    cunhell29 - I disagree with you, sorry.

The problem starts at home. Parents are responsible to teach children how to behave.
The deputies are there for the ones that dont behave, for failed parents.

You go to this kids house .. 10:1 I bet I'd disagree with his upbringing. Punching anyone is unacceptable, punching a female teacher -- kick him out.

"In case you don't know, assault on a teacher is a felony. He will be charged as an adult." mtm0122

Sorry, that's incorrect. In NC it is still a misdemeanor.

I'd like to know more before we condemn this young man, fights happen, not happy about it, but they do. Did this young man swing at the teacher or did she get between them with his arm midair? It doesn't mean something shouldn't deserve to happen, but, the full force of the police should only be on exception levels.
