Assault, weapons charges filed for Raleigh man

— Reginald Karl Patrick, 33, of 3709 Amistad Lane in Raleigh, was arrested Sunday after allegedly assaulting a man with a handgun.

Raleigh police charged Patrick with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, carrying a concealed weapon after consuming alcohol and discharging a firearm within city limits.

He is being held in the Wake County Jail under a $5,000 bond.

    5000 bucks? I've had that bond in Wake County for traffic violations.

    Looks like he will be loosing his Concealed Carry Permit with a charge like that(carrying a concealed weapon after consuming alcohol). If he didn't have a Concealed Carry Permit, he would have been charged with Carring a Concealed weapon.

    Wow, not all this crime in the picture perfect Raleigh, Wake Co. Either people are blind, scenile, or blind and scenile, to not recognize the issues that Raleigh has, so please lets stop the Durham bashing that takes place so often.

    Too bad he didn't accost a CCW holder; that'd be one less criminal. "Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill" sounds an awful lot like attempted murder to me.
